Your Mother Sews Socks in Hell!

Exorcism (from Greek εξορκισμός, exorkismós “binding by oath”) is the religious or spiritual practice of evicting demons or other spiritual entities from a person, or an area, that are believed to be possessed.

The idea to make an exorcism-scene,  came to my mind before I thought of the project as a whole… as a series.

Your Mother Sews Socks in Hell! was completed in 2016, and is an homage to the great movie The Exorcist, 1973.

I sculpted toys, teddybears, books, and a tiny Jack-in-the-box. The plaquettes on the wall by the door are buttons I found in my grandmothers drawer. With a little paint, they fit perfectly into this nursery.

Sculpting new heads

I hardly ever go back, improving things on my older dioramas. But for my first solo-in 2021 , I decided to make new heads for the clergy in this scene.
